- Fleet
- The set of vehicles a permitted source associates with a company at a specific point of observation.
- Observed fleet
- Vehicles registered in FleetFinder's permitted data. The term does not necessarily mean the company's entire actual fleet.
- Fleet profile
- A compilation of fleet size, composition, age, source basis, and data quality for a company.
- Fleet intelligence
- Structured analysis of companies, vehicle associations, changes, and sourcing relevance with documented provenance.
- Opportunity score
- A version-controlled relevance score that prioritises research. The score does not document intent to sell.
- Observation
- A source-supported data point recorded at a specific time.
- Estimate
- A calculated value, clearly distinguished from directly observed values.
- Inference
- A cautious derivation from multiple data points. The basis must be inspectable.
- Confidence
- An assessment of the strength of the data basis as low, medium, or high.
- Provenance
- The documented chain from a displayed value back to its source, retrieval time, and transformation.
- Freshness
- How much time has passed since a value was last observed or calculated.
- Sourcing opportunity
- A company matching the user's documented criteria. It is not an offer of sale.
- Fleet change
- A difference between two comparable observations, without an automatic assumption of purchase or sale.
- Saved searches
- A version-controlled filter set that can be re-evaluated against later permitted data.
- Data source
- A provider or first-party channel with documented access, purpose, retention, and display rules.
